IT Checkout Procedure for Departing EBR Employees

Before the termination date, the employee should complete the following: 

  1. Identify all personal data on various locations of computers including desktops, mapped drives (H: T: S: Drives) and local storage (C: drive).
  2. Copy or remove all personal data from all EBR locations identified above and relocate the data. Data can be relocated to jump drives, emailed to personal email accounts, burned to discs, transferred to an external hard drive, or
    transferred to a personal cloud storage account such as Google Drive or Dropbox. 
  3. Return any equipment belonging to the appropriate department, including cell phone(s), laptop computer, and/or a Chromebook.

WARNING: All EBR electronic resources and access will be shutdown, made unavailable, restricted, and deactivated on the termination date. This action is determined by HR at the keying time and may occur at the beginning of the day. This action is NOT determined by, nor can it be altered by, the IT Department.
